Dry Noodles - Very good

When it comes to soup dumping, everyone comes up with Din Tai Fung; however, this restaurant serves better quality at only half prices. It has simple decor and clean environment though not fancy at all.Its quick and good service including menu in English with pictures meets consumers' need as much as its cousines.
Recommended dishes:
original soup dumpling
won ton soup
prawn dim sum
sweet and sour soup

Narrow Door Cafe

Narrow Door Cafe

F2, 67 Nanmen Road, Tainan, Taiwan

Open hours:weekdays 10:30-24:00,weekend: 10:00-24:00

Restaurant

It is interesting that the door, the stairs leading to the cafe is so narrow. Even an average- weight person has to walk sideway to enter. So think twice, if you don't want to be humiliated by your company's giggles. After the challenge, what awaits is actually quite bland--the decor is vintage style... food is average, typical tea and toast...However, you can still overlook Confucius Temple while relaxing for an easy  day.

Staff does not speak English, but a neighbour is there to translate. It is not expensive and comes with  shrimp and pork  on top of noodles in a prawn broth, forming a fantastic combination. However, due to its small portion, an average consumer may have a couple of bowls to feel full.
